Some OM's use the thin RG 178 or RG 316 Chinese cables, which have a small diameter and are therefore very flexible. Unfortunately such cables have only a very low shielding of partly less than 25dB. But especially on the last meters you should have the highest shielding! Why? The house is teeming with potential interferers such as switching power supplies, LEDs, induction stove, etc.. Also the PC and the monitor are usually in direct proximity and can have unsightly influences.
