Die Simplex Professional Morsetaste ist eine Variante unseres Simplex-Paddels und verfügt über dieselben technischen Eigenschaften, die die Simplex-Paddel bei allen Anwendern sehr beliebt gemacht haben. Das Simplex Professional Morsetaste hat eine schwarze (Turtle, blaue oder Military Green) Basis mit einer Titanium-Nitrade-Beschichtung. Viele Komponenten sind vergoldet. Die roten Fingerteile bilden einen atemberaubenden Kontrast zum tiefschwarzen Titannitrat-Finish, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen ist. Wie unsere anderen Morsetasten wird auch diese mit Hilfe von NC-Maschinen hergestellt, um absolute Präzision zu gewährleisten. Für alle Einstellungen werden Mikrogewindeschrauben verwendet. Die Paddlearme werden von 4 Kugellagern gehalten, die in den Sockel eingelassen sind. Sie bestehen aus einer leichten Legierung, die für eine sehr geringe bewegte Masse sorgt - dies ermöglicht ein ausgezeichnetes Ansprechverhalten bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten, selbst wenn sie für einen sehr leichten Anschlag eingestellt sind. Die Kontakte sind aus 925/000 Silber. Die Taste wird mit einer Staubschutzhülle geliefert.

The Simplex Basic may be our least expensive key, but it is a very capable CW instrument that can hold it’s own against many far more expensive keys on the market. It is a iambic key with a heavy (1.4 kg or more than 3 pounds) cast base and gold plated components, using long springs for the return force. Like our other keys it is manufactured using NC machinery for absolute precision. Micro-threaded screws are used for all adjustments. The arms are held by 4 ball bearings that are imbedded in the base, and they are made of a light-weight alloy that provides very low moving mass - this allows excellent responsiveness at high speeds even when set fora very light touch. The contacts are 925/000 silver. The key comes with a protective dust cover. The base of this key is made by melting and casting phosphatized iron. As a result, no two bases will be identical, even though the overall shape and dimensions are ensured by the mold. A rough uneven surface with individual patterns is characteristic for this process.

The Magnetic Traveler Light is a iambic key that addresses the needs of the traveling or backpacking ham in a no-compromise design. It combines constructive elements found in our Simplex and Magnetic Classic keys in a rugged package that will survive the rigors of a roving life. Using sealed precision bearings, repelling magnets, micro-threaded adjustments, gold contacts as a standard, and light-weight alloys, this is a unique key that is sure to become a classic. These pictures show the blue finish, but you can also order it with a black base. The Magnetic Traveler Light uses a unique folding base that protects the finger pieces during transport, and in the open position it provides the required lateral stability. It uses a light-weigth alloy for the base and the “wings”, and it weighs in at about 1.5 pounds - so it is still heavy enough to stay putduring desktop usage. For the backpacking user who may not have a desk the Magnetic Traveler Light is equipped with attachments and a strap to fasten it to your leg.
