Das neue POTA-FLEX 7 Koaxkabel wurde von Messi&Paoloni speziell für Outdoor-Anwendungen wie POTA (Parks on the Air), SOTA, IOTA etc. entwickelt, bei denen extrem robuste und gut sichtbare Koaxkabel gefragt sind. Die gelbe und reflektierende Ummantelung des Koaxkabels ist gut sichtbar und bietet somit auch an belebten Plätzen wie Parks etc. einen optischen Schutz und reduziert die Stolpergefahr und unbeabsichtigtem "Hängenbleiben".

Das leichte und flexible Pota-Flex 7 Koaxialkabel von Messi & Paoloni hat einen Außendurchmesser von 7,65 mm, den Innenleiter bilden 19 einzelne Kupferdrähte. Die Abschirmung besteht aus 3 Schichten: 2 x Geflecht aus Kupferdraht mit jeweils 144 Drähten, darunter Kupferfolie mit einer PE-Schicht, die das Dielektrikum umgibt. Dadurch wird nicht nur eine ideale HF-Abschirmung erreicht, sondern das Kabel auch vor mechanischer Beschädigung geschützt.. Das Dielektrikum ist geschäumt, dadurch wird eine im Verhältnis zum Durchmesser sehr geringe Dämpfung erreicht.
