Copper/Kevlar Antenna Wire

Copper/Kevlar Antenna Wire This antenna litz wire made of copper/Kevlar, is specially manufactured in the Netherlands for use as long wire, endfed, dipole or other antennas. The wire consists of a Kevlar core with approx. 1.1 mm2 tinned copper braid. The combination of Kevlar and copper gives an optimal mix of RF wire and tensile strength of about 50kg. In contrast to the pure copper braid, the length remains stable here, because the braid does not elongate over time. Thus, frequency and SWR remain stable over a long time. The insulation is made of high quality and UV-resistant PE. This antenna wire is therefore durable, strong, still flexible and has with only 14g per meter, a low weight. Ideal for travel (SOTA, IOTA; etc) but also perfect for a permanently installed antenna. Specifications: 1x 0,4 mm Kevlar core 24x 0.25 mm tinned copper.
